Joshua Tree National Park

In the Middle of the Desert – Joshua Tree National Park

After our road trip, Taylor and I decided to fuel the travel bug once again and spontaneously decided to go to Joshua Tree National Park.  We had heard great things about Joshua Tree from its crazy rock formations to its beautiful sunsets and sunrises.  The star gazing opportunities at Joshua Tree are also unbelievable in the middle of the night!

We were lucky enough to camp in Cottonwood Campground in the southeast section of the park.  The camp site was better then we imagined with built in fire-pits and picnic tables and enough room for any size tent.

Below is a video of our trip!

Fees: Price per vehicle – $25

Campgrounds: Majority of campgrounds are first come first serve and fill up fast in the spring and fall.  You can also book reservations for the popular campgrounds at https://www.nps.gov/jotr/planyourvisit/campgrounds.htm.  Weekends book up fast in the peak season, so make sure to plan in advance!
